About The Position

Located in North Hollywood, CA, Avibank Manufacturing, Inc., a PCC Company, a part of the Engineered Products Group, is among the world's leading manufacturers specializing in the design and production of sophisticated fasteners and multi-component fastening systems and devices, solving difficult engineering and critical performance problems. Position Summary: Level One: Working under direct supervision level one forge press operator completes basic forging tasks such as interpreting job doc including verify material sizes and correct tooling with job router. Completes basic forging tasks as relates to running a forging press. They will also be introduced to basic hand held inspection tools such calipers, micrometers, and thermometers, and will be required to perform basic in process inspection tasks, such as dimensional and temperature checks demonstrating very basic print reading and shop math skills. Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtracts, multiply, and divides in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals

Applicant should be familiar with machining and forging methods.
A minimum of at least 1 year experience in industry or related field.
High school diploma/GED equivalent required.
