About The Position

The Land Stewards and Natural Resources Education Coordinator at Oregon State University is a part-time professional faculty position focused on developing and delivering educational programs related to forestry and natural resources in Jackson County. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in any field AND two years of natural resources or agriculture experience; OR Bachelor's degree in natural resources, agriculture, or education.
• Demonstrated teaching experience and experience with planning, organizing, and delivering educational programs.
• Ability to communicate successfully with a broad and diverse audience.
• General knowledge and ability to use computers, including proficiency with information technology and professional office software.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Demonstrated expertise in land management topics such as fire risk mitigation and water conservation.
• Experience managing volunteers.
