About The Position
Rex Transportation Forestry Driver are responsible for transporting rough cut timber from logging site to the assigned mills in an efficient, safe, and legal manner. The driver has the responsibility of making sure the load is secure and ready for transport using company provided equipment. The driver will be responsible for performing pre trip and post trip inspections daily and report any mechanical issues to dispatch. Drivers must be able to work as scheduled and must be able to arrive on logging site on time and be respectful with logging crews as well as mill employees. Drivers must operate assigned equipment in a safe and respectful manner in order to protect other motorists at all times. The driver will report to Dispatch for assignments and instructions.
