Job Overview: We’re looking for a dedicated and skilled Foreperson to lead our crew in the field, ensuring safety, efficiency, and exceptional quality on every job site. As a Foreperson, you’ll take charge of both hands-on tasks and team leadership, helping guide and train crew members as they grow their skills. Whether it’s operating machinery, clearing vegetation, coordinating with customers, or conducting safety checks, this role keeps you engaged and on the move. Requirements

• Ability to perform physical labor for a full workday.
• Completion of Groundperson Training and Aerial Rescue Training.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Minimum of 12 months of line clearance experience
• Completion of Tree Feller Training and equipment proficiency certifications.

Nice To Haves

• Valid Driver’s License (CDL a plus).
• DOT Medical Examiner Certificate (Form MCSA-5876)
• Successful completion of the Foreperson assessment with a score of 70% or higher.

Responsibilities

• Perform general vegetation management tasks, including: Operating chainsaws, chippers, and other equipment for tree clearing, bucking, and limbing.
• Setting up job sites, directing traffic control, and handling debris clean-up.
• Conducting regular vehicle and equipment inspections and maintenance.
• Lead and inspire your crew: Oversee job sites, providing hands-on training and support to help crew members work safely and efficiently.
• Take responsibility for the crew’s safety, equipment management, and work quality.
• Maintain job-related paperwork, communicate with customers, and ensure all work aligns with safety standards.
