About The Position

We are seeking a Board-Certified / Board-Eligible Forensic Pathologist to join a well-established forensic pathology service in West Reading, Pennsylvania at Tower Health -Reading Hospital. This role is an excellent opportunity for a new graduate completing a Forensic Pathology Fellowship who is seeking strong institutional support, predictable scheduling, and a balanced forensic and clinical practice. Position Highlights 80% Forensic Pathology/ 20% Anatomic Pathology (General) Approximately 100 autopsies annually Monday-Friday daytime schedule Dedicated autopsy and histology support staff Experienced pathologist to supervise/train candidate for successful Focused Professional Practice Evaluation Supportive environment ideal for early-career forensic pathologists Forensic Case from Berks County Medical autopsies from all Tower Health Hospitals About Reading Hospital: Located in West Reading, PA, Reading Hospital is a 697-bed, Magnet®-recognized acute care facility offering advanced care across multiple specialties. Requirements

  • MD or DO degree
  • Completion of: -Pathology residency and certified by American Board of Pathology or American Osteopathic Board of Pathology -Accredited Forensic Pathology fellowship -Board Certified or Board Eligible in Forensic Pathology
  • Active Pennsylvania medical license required (or ability to obtain)
  • Team-oriented, dependable, and detail-focused
