Responsibilities

• Perform forensic autopsies and examinations on deceased individuals.
• Teach and mentor medical students, pathology residents, forensic pathology fellows, and pathologists' assistants.
• Engage in research and publication opportunities in forensic pathology.
• Collaborate with a team of forensic photographers and medical investigators.
• Utilize advanced imaging and histology resources for comprehensive pathology services.
• Participate in optional scene investigations and phone-only call duties.

Requirements

• Board certification in anatomic pathology preferred; board-eligible candidates considered if they will be certified within 2 years.
• Experience in forensic pathology is preferred.
• Strong communication and teaching skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Lodox full-body imaging technology.
• Familiarity with neuropathology, odontology, and anthropology.
