About The Position
Berks Counseling Center is a recovery-oriented behavioral health, physical health, and supportive services organization providing a holistic approach to a culturally and economically diverse population for the purpose of achieving a healthy and productive lifestyle. As a Forensic Certified Peer/Recovery Specialist, you will be an active member of the integrated care team. You will use your own unique experiences to mentor, teach, and support incarcerated individuals with building skills and resources to facilitate individual recovery, while at Berks County Jail System and as they are transitioning back into the community.
