The Forensic Advisory Services Internship is expected to last between 8-12 weeks. This individual is expected to execute litigation support/forensic accounting engagements for multiple clients in various industries. Responsibilities include planning and completing tasks related to forensic accounting investigative services. Requirements

  • Some related work experience in accounting
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance in progress
  • Committed to obtaining a CPA license
  • Excellent organizational skills, analytical skills and ability to work on a team
  • Capacity to work well under pressure
  • Ability to adjust priorities as deadlines shift
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, QuickBooks

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual – English, Spanish desired

Responsibilities

  • Planning and completing tasks related to forensic accounting investigative services
  • Participate in cases that involve accounting principles, financial analysis, calculation of economic damages, business valuation principles, fraud investigations, and bankruptcy matters
  • Assist in preparing a completed case work-up that is well documented and free from errors
  • Communicate findings and present work product clearly and concisely (orally and in writing)
  • Effectively present issues identified, researched, and resolved
  • Work on multiple engagements simultaneously
  • Assist in preparing expert witnesses for testimony
  • Demonstrate the ability to earn the trust of clients through outstanding client service and communication
