About The Position
Hutco Inc. is seeking a shipyard repair Foreman for a yard in Hahnville, LA. Experience is required. Must have knowledge in removing wheel shafts, rudders, and coolers, and be able to manage a minimum crew of 10 people. NO TWIC card required. NO per diem is available. Long-term work. LOTS OF HOURS AVAILABLE!!!

Responsibilities
- Oversees day-to-day repairs of marine vessels on yard
- Instructs personnel on procedures and repairs to be accomplished on each job
- Complies with written repair specifications
- Logs time cards for each employee, ensuring the correct job number and phases for each
- Effectively utilize equipment and personnel in order to keep the barge comment schedule on track
- Maintains a safety watch over all aspects of yard jobs
- Ability to operate various pieces of equipment and machinery
- Controls expendable and consumable items used during repairs
