About The Position

The position of a Foreman is responsible to manage and assist craft workers in performing their assigned duties under close supervision. The Foreman will perform work as required to maximize the quality of the Company while maintaining the specified expectations of the client and ensure safe working environment while performing work and will conduct all Company business in accordance with Company policies and procedures and maintain professionalism throughout all business dealings, both internally and externally.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent and at least 2 years of managerial experience and at least 1 years of supervisor experience in related industry.
  • Petrochemical/refinery experience.
  • Demonstrate organizational skills, problem solving, prioritizing communication, documentation, leadership, motivational and cooperative team management with critical detail.
  • Must have excellent relational skills with customers, sub-contractors, and subordinates.
  • Must understand and articulate mechanical concepts (i.e., Drawings).
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and resources.

Nice To Haves

  • 4 years of managerial experience and 2 years of supervisor experience in related industry.
  • First Aid and CPR trained.
  • Class “A” driver’s license with a clean MVR.

Responsibilities

  • Knowledgeable of API650 and API651
  • Follow day-to-day cost of jobs in your area to ensure that Superintendents are capturing all the changes required on project.
  • Oversee project from cradle to grave.
  • Review project proposal and plans to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing projects, staffing requirements and allotment of available resources to various phases of project.
  • Establish work plan and staffing for each phase of project and arrange for recruitment or assignment of project personnel.
  • Coordinate work efforts between various subcontractors.
  • Confer with project staff to outline work plan and to assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority.
  • Monitor status of project and make any necessary modifications to schedules or plans as required.
  • Prepare/review and present project reports for management, client, and staff.
  • Confer with project personnel to provide technical advice and resolve problems.
  • Review all paperwork (i.e. payroll time sheets, service receipts, FCO’s, evaluations of employees for proper raise or demotions, etc.)
  • Keep shop and equipment in order.
  • Pursue the use of new methods and technologies in an effort to increase profits without sacrificing Company quality/integrity standards.
  • Ensure the overall safety on any project and provide a safe work environment for all personnel.
  • Team leader for all rescue operations.
  • Follow all Company Safety, Quality Control/ Quality Assurance procedures and OSHA guidelines.
  • Maintain poise and focus under time constraint and adverse conditions.
  • Attend and complete trainings as required by the Company and client.
  • Pass all required drug/alcohol testing and background requirements.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
