About The Position

Saber Power Services, a portfolio company of Greenbelt Capital Partners, is a fully integrated electrical power system services firm providing end-to-end solutions across utility, renewables and battery storage, industrial, petrochemical, and other markets.  Based in Houston, Texas, Saber Power offers deep subject matter expertise and uses an engineering-led approach to designing, installing, testing, and maintaining medium and high-voltage electrical infrastructure.  Position Summary: 

The Foreman is a senior field role responsible for leading construction crews, scheduling and coordinating concrete work, and overseeing day-to-day operations on civil construction projects. This role ensures projects are completed safely, on time, and in accordance with plans, specifications, and quality standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Foreman or Lead in civil or concrete construction projects
• Strong knowledge of concrete placement, finishing, formwork, and civil construction methods
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and project specifications
• Valid driver’s license (commercial license an asset)
• Leadership and crew management skills
• Excellent planning, organizational, and time-management abilities
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Effective communication skills with crew and management
• High attention to quality, safety, and productivity

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and coordinate crews including journeymen, apprentices, and laborers
• Schedule and manage concrete pours, formwork, finishing, and related civil work
• Read and interpret blueprints, civil drawings, and project specifications
• Ensure proper sequencing of work, materials, and equipment on site
• Monitor project progress, labor productivity, and quality of workmanship
• Enforce safety policies, OSHA standards, and company procedures
• Communicate project status, challenges, and resource needs to project management
• Assist with problem-solving on technical and operational issues on site
• Mentor and train crew members to ensure skill development and compliance
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, equipment usage, and labor hours
• Perform other job-related duties as requested by management.
