The position involves overseeing construction projects, ensuring they are completed within the assigned schedule and budget. The role requires reading plans, understanding elevations, and managing all aspects of construction scope. The individual will be responsible for planning, assigning, scheduling, and supervising the work of laborers, truck drivers, and equipment operators involved in various construction activities, including concrete and underground utility installation, backfilling, compacting trenches, and installing street steel plating. Additionally, the position includes instructing and training employees on the safe operation of construction equipment and tools, as well as job techniques and skills. The individual will also prepare necessary reports, recommend purchases of tools and equipment, supervise on-site equipment operators, and ensure the proper maintenance and safe usage of all equipment. The role may involve performing other related tasks as required by the Project Manager or Chief Operating Officer.
