About The Position
MOT/TTC (Maintenance of Traffic/Temporary Traffic Control) - Foreman/Crew Lead Growing company, looking for dependable employee who is seeking a company home that allows for growth and security. Work includes, but is not limited to, flagging traffic. PRIME Traffic Control is a growing company seeking dependable candidates to join and lead a team in flagging and traffic control operations. This role offers a “company home” with opportunities for growth and long-term security. Our work includes setting up safe work zones to control vehicular and pedestrian traffic. Setting up signage, cones, barrels, arrow boards, message boards, etc. per FDOT Specifications and Permit requirements. Safely drive company truck to support the work.
Requirements
- Must be dependable
- Must be timely and responsive in communication
- Must be able to solve problems and make in-field adjustments to Traffic Control set-ups utilizing MUTCD guidelines
- Minimum 6 months of experience as a true Lead/Foreman
- Ability to be a Team Leader, helping to train, develop and mentor future Foreman
- ATSSA – FLORIDA - Advanced Certification (must have)
- A clean driving record and background within the past 5 years
- Willingness to work in a drug & alcohol – no smoking environment
- Ability to stand on your feet all day
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds (typically cones)
- Flexibility to work in changing weather conditions year-round
- Advanced Temporary Traffic Control Certification (Required)
- Driver's License (Required)
- Advanced MOT certification FDOT/ATSSA
