About The Position

MOT/TTC (Maintenance of Traffic/Temporary Traffic Control) - Foreman/Crew Lead Growing company, looking for dependable employee who is seeking a company home that allows for growth and security. Work includes, but is not limited to, flagging traffic. PRIME Traffic Control is a growing company seeking dependable candidates to join and lead a team in flagging and traffic control operations. This role offers a “company home” with opportunities for growth and long-term security. PRIME Traffic Control was established in Winter Garden, FL with the original purpose of supporting the Electrical Power Industry. The company prides itself on creating a safe, supported work environment where employees truly feel valued! Our work includes setting up safe work zones to control vehicular and pedestrian traffic. Setting up signage, cones, barrels, arrow boards, message boards, etc. per FDOT Specifications and Permit requirements. Safely drive company truck to support the work. PRIME Traffic Control was established with the idea that the best trained people deliver the best service. PRIME Traffic Control has developed training programs and associated processes to produce the strongest training program in the industry. These are key to provide safe Maintenance of Traffic, MOT, Temporary Traffic Control, Flagging and other Construction Services in the State of Florida. Quality vehicles, signs, devices and the best trained people are the recipe for the best quality traffic controlled work zones available in the market place. PRIME Traffic Control understands that the cost of a utility crew or road building crew far outweighs that of a traffic control crew, however, a work zone not properly established can bring the entire operation to a halt. A Traffic Control Crew must be dependable and reliable the first time, every time. Coordinating with all necessary entities to keep work zones safe. PRIME offers Maintenance of Traffic, MOT, Temporary Traffic Control, TTC and Construction Services in the state of Florida.

Requirements

  • Must be dependable
  • Must be timely and responsive in communication
  • Must be able to solve problems and make in-field adjustments to Traffic Control set-ups utilizing MUTCD guidelines
  • Minimum 6 months of experience as a true Lead/Foreman
  • Ability to be a Team Leader, helping to train, develop and mentor future Foreman
  • ATSSA – FLORIDA - Advanced Certification (must have)
  • A clean driving record and background within the past 5 years
  • Willingness to work in a drug & alcohol – no smoking environment
  • Ability to stand on your feet all day
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds (typically cones)
  • Flexibility to work in changing weather conditions year-round
  • Advanced Temporary Traffic Control Certification (Required)
  • Driver's License (Required)
  • Advanced MOT certification FDOT/ATSSA
