About The Position

Under general supervision, performs annual required pressure testing, pressure safety valves testing and wellhead greasing maintenance on company owned equipment. Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures including SOP and process development. Will be required to estimate time and material costs of various facilities as required. Advise and work closely with the maintenance group to develop and maintain a clear line of communication and reporting of test results. This position is responsible for staff and contracting scheduling and performance and safety needs, service relationships, invoicing and coding of all related daily needs.  Additionally, develop annual budget forecasts and adhere to budgetary discipline. This position will work closely with the operations and facilities teams as well as any other operational needs in the specified areas to schedule and carry out the mandated tasks. This position is also counted on being a technical and safety leader for the contracted field support services. This person is responsible for direct supervision of contract services, including technical implementation. Finally, this role may be asked to explore emerging technologies and manage additional practices that may support the Integrity team to advance the services and support capabilities to the Operations team. Essential Roles & Responsibilities: In addition to the technical roles and responsibilities of a foreman of the specific discipline, the foreman is also responsible for the following: Participates in multi-disciplinary team meetings, providing production operations discipline specific input Develops good relationships with and effectively manages contractors and suppliers Handles invoice management Provides production operations discipline input into the budget process and collaborates with superintendent and management to develop budget estimates Confers with engineering personnel regarding status of projects and field related problems Ensures completions and production operations are scheduled and conducted in such a way to minimize delays, safety issues, technical issues and risks Confirms well site contractors are properly approved with SCM Group Actively participate in monthly safety meetings and lead meetings as needed Provide relief for the other foreman as needed On site supervision of contractors involved in workover and completion operations of oil and gas wells including acid and fracturing operations, coil tubing units, workover units, water handling, flow back services, roustabouts, cased-hole logging, and fishing operations Supervises and ensures performance is of the highest quality for all direct reports Participate in the performance reviews and personnel development efforts for all direct reports Remains current in the application of the latest proven technologies and methods used for their specific operation discipline in the production of oil and gas assets Regular field trips with ability to work extended hours when required Conducts business with the highest ethical standards

Requirements

  • Identify problems or potential problems with equipment
  • Perform job walks to properly define scope of work for special projects with minimal supervision.
  • Verify dimensions, specifications, and tolerances using P&ID’s and our ISO’s.
  • Prepare and maintain all schedules and documentation to support work.
  • Perform safety oversight to make sure that Lockout/Tagout is being utilized correctly on all projects
  • Willingness to build and maintain recordkeeping, high level of diligence and attention to detail
  • Follow safe operating practices and maintain a safe working environment
  • Assured all work performed adheres to the company’s standards and regulatory requirements

  • Proficiency in Excel is a must

  • High School Degree or equivalent
  • A valid driver’s license is required.
  • Minimum 8 years of oil and gas experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree is a plus.
  • Safety training with a heavy emphasis on Lockout/Tagout is a preferred
