We're seeking a Diesel Technician, Foreman with at least 5 years of experience in the Heavy Class 8 Mechanical Industry (or similar) to join our innovative Fleet Maintenance team. A Day in the Life: What You'll Be Doing As a Master Diesel Technician on the Fleet Maintenance team, you will combine advanced technical work with management and leadership responsibilities. You'll perform a variety of tasks, with clear pathways for growth: Team Leadership: Effectively oversee day-to-day operations within the assigned technician team. Performance Management: Proactively provide the team with a clear understanding of expectations, performance measures, goals, and feedback. Technical Diagnosis & Repair: Diagnose (using engine diagnostic equipment) and perform general, preventative maintenance, and DVIR for all heavy equipment. Fabrication: Use welders, torches, and plasma cutters to weld or fabricate broken parts. Administrative Duties: Manage invoices for all repairs completed by third-party vendors. Inventory & Compliance: Manage parts room(s) according to Centralized Parts Team guidelines and maintain accurate and legal records for respective ELD and fleet programs.
