About The Position

Established electrical contracting company is currently seeking a skilled Electrical Foreman to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing commercial and industrial electrical projects.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in commercial and industrial electrical projects
  • Must have 3 plus years of experience leading a team of electricians
  • Must have experience in operating heavy equipment
  • Excellent communication skills, professional demeanor, and detail oriented
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Capable of reading and interpreting drawings and schematics
  • Knowledge of Fire Alarm systems and other low voltage installations
  • Capable of working on voltages 0-600V
  • Experience excavating duct banks utilizing mini-excavator and skid steer
  • Understanding of grounding and bonding requirements for electrical systems
  • Experience bending and installing RMC, IMC, and EMT required
  • Underground duct bank and transformer vault experience
  • Must be professional and demonstrate leadership along with a positive attitude promoting a team environment
  • Must be certified in OSHA 30
  • Must possess strong knowledge of NEC
  • Four-year certified electrical training required

Nice To Haves

  • Medium voltage experience of working voltages greater then 1kV is a plus
  • Capable of working in a high reach, scissor lift, and/or bucket truck
  • Class CDL B is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Experience reading and interpreting electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications while adhering to electrical codes
  • Experience leading a team of up to 20-30 electricians and assigning required daily tasks
  • Tracking manpower for specific tasks and assuring efficient execution
  • Job-site management ensuring the proper materials are onsite to perform the scope of work required to be completed
  • Successful completion of projects within scheduled deadlines and budgets
  • Coordinating and communicating project updates with the office team regarding change orders and other pertinent project information
  • Strong communication with the onsite supervisor and other trades
  • Able to complete and deliver as-builts and project closeout documentation
