About The Position

The Landscaping Supervisor will provide supervision and direction for all landscaping functions at The Lodge at Koele. Reporting to the Landscaping Manager, the Landscaping Supervisor will be passionate about ensuring the healthful care and culture of all plants, flowers, and grounds/lawns throughout the resort, and will work closely with the staff to ensure all plants, both interior and exterior, are meticulously maintained to the greatest of standards.

Requirements

• Three to five years of successful landscaping leadership experience in a similar large-scale resort area.
• Significant understanding of horticulture challenges on an island terrain.
• High level of attention to detail and strong work ethic.
• Ability to lift up to 80lbs.
• Flexible schedule with the ability to work all shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge in landscape fertilizer, herbicide, and pesticide application.
• Experience working in a union environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct all landscaping functions at The Lodge at Koele.
• Ensure the healthful care and culture of all plants, flowers, and grounds/lawns throughout the resort.
• Work closely with staff to maintain all plants to the highest standards.
• Program irrigation controllers and troubleshoot the existing system.
• Make educated changes to the irrigation schedule according to seasonal requirements.
