About The Position

TES Staffing is seeking an experienced Ceramic Tile Installer & Crew Leader to lead tile installation crews on commercial projects. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional who takes pride in high-quality craftsmanship, jobsite leadership, and mentoring others. The Working Foreman will install tile while overseeing crew performance, jobsite standards, and project timelines.

Requirements

Proven experience as a ceramic tile installer
Previous experience leading crews or working as a foreman preferred
Strong knowledge of tile installation methods, materials, and tools
Ability to read and understand plans and specifications
Reliable, detail-oriented, and solution-focused
Valid driving record required

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise tile installation crews on active job sites
Install ceramic, porcelain, and natural stone tile with precision and efficiency
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project plans
Prepare surfaces, including floor leveling and waterproofing when required
Measure, cut, and lay tile to ensure clean, accurate, and consistent installation
Mix, apply, and clean grout; ensure proper curing and finish work
Coordinate daily tasks with project managers to meet schedules and deadlines
Maintain jobsite safety, cleanliness, and compliance with company standards
Train, mentor, and support junior installers and apprentices
Communicate professionally with clients, team members, and management
