About The Position

The Humanities Department at Jefferson Community College is seeking part-time adjunct faculty in Foreign Languages to grow our adjunct pool. Candidates may be needed to teach in one or more of the following courses: American Sign Language 1, 2, and 3; Elementary French 1 and 2; Elementary German; Elementary Conversational Italian; Elementary Conversational Spanish; Elementary Spanish 1 and 2; and Intermediate Spanish 1.

Requirements

• Master's Degree in the Foreign Language and/or native speaker
• Prior teaching experience at the college level is required
• Applicants must interact and communicate effectively with diverse populations
• Foster inclusion and promote equal access and treatment for groups traditionally under-represented in higher education.
