About The Position

Job SummaryWe are currently accepting applications for a PreK-8 Foreign Language Teacher. Ideal candidates will have experience teaching, a degree in or native fluency in French or Spanish, and will integrate Catholic values contributing to the spiritual and academic growth of students.

Requirements

  • Background check
  • Prevent and Protect Program completed through the Archdiocese
  • Degree in target language OR Native fluency with degree in Education or related discipline
  • Valid language or elementary teaching credentials

Responsibilities

  • Plan and teach language lessons that reflect both the Archdiocesan curriculum and national standards for foreign language education
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and creative classroom environment that encourages artistic expression and critical thinking
  • Integrate Catholic values and teachings into instruction when appropriate
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers and school staff on cross-curricular or special projects
  • Support school-wide liturgical, cultural, and community events through linguistic diversity
  • Maintain accurate student records and communicate progress to parents and administration
