The Foreign Currency Trade Support Associate is a key member of the Global Currency and Foreign Exchange Trade Support and Service Team. This role provides operational support for the booking and settlement of non-USD securities and transactions for Wealth Management clients, ensuring seamless execution across multiple regions and platforms. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities: Trade Support Operations > Assist with order entry and post-trade execution for foreign exchange and global currency products. > Respond to client currency inquiries and coordinate FX margin reviews and wire management. > Facilitate the movement of non-USD currency across various transaction types. Wires and Journals > Oversee outgoing currency wire management and intercompany settlements. > Process client currency transfer requests and journal entries. Reconciliation and Control > Maintain and reconcile bank accounts including: o 18 Global Currency (GC) accounts o 22 Foreign Exchange (FX) accounts o 22 FX/ISG Settlement accounts > Manage facilitation accounts and third-party vendor reconciliations. > Handle break management and remediation processes. ________________________________________ Stakeholder Engagement: > Collaborate with internal teams such as: o Branch Personnel o Currency Business Unit o Currency Trading Desk o Legal/ Compliance/ Risk, MSPBNA Banking Ops o ISG FX Trade Support, International Settlements o Corporate Actions, Finance, Treasury > Liaise with external agent banks and vendors. Qualifications: > Strong understanding of foreign exchange markets, settlement, and non-USD securities. > Experience in trade lifecycle management and operational controls. > Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. > Familiarity with margin requirements, wire processing, and reconciliation tools. Salary range for the position: $63,000.00 and $83,000.00 per year. The successful candidate may be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit’s incentive compensation plan, which also may include a discretionary bonus component.
