About The Position

Reporting to the Director of Supply Chain, the Forecasting and Inventory Planner will be responsible for demand planning, order management, allocation, and fulfillment for total enterprise direct materials.

Requirements

  • Data-Driven with strong analytical and planning experience in demand planning, inventory management,
  • Entrepreneurial mindset that can successfully partner with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Tactical problem-solving ability.
  • Must be able to manage competing priorities with excellent organizational skills.
  • Effective communication skills both written and oral
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum 3+ years of demand planning, supply chain and purchasing-related experience in an industry that processes high quality products or services.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, possess Advanced Excel (pivot tables)
  • Knowledge and/or experience with analytical supply chain planning tools, forecasting systems, inventory planning and management systems.
  • Ability to travel as required (less than 5%)

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
  • 5+ years of forecasting & purchasing experience.

Responsibilities

  • Partner and coordinate with key stakeholders including Account Managers, Program Managers & Procurement team.
  • Create and develop overall demand forecast for new installations, replenishment needs, and part requests.
  • Gather and access all insights, trends, and all other key inputs.
  • Create long-term, sustainable processes used cross-functionally to roll up overall demand forecast/inventory need.
  • Identify and escalate abnormalities and business risks.
  • Partner to maintain overall reporting and visibility to forecast and inventory metrics.
  • Work effectively across the organization to provide procurement, order management, fulfillment, and S&OP support.
  • Recommend and work jointly with internal and external stakeholders on revenue driving and cost savings initiatives.
  • Review and develop processes and implement best practices and procedures to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency.
  • Partner to create key performance metrics and benchmarks relating to demand planning and inventory management.
  • Measure actual performance against goals on a regular basis.
  • Identify business risks and opportunities, while recommending action plans to cross-functional teams to improve inventory availability and inventory health.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
