FORD SERVICE TECHNICIAN / MOBILE SERVICE TECHNICIAN Rydell of Independence – Independence, IA Full-Time | Up to $20,000 Sign-On Bonus Location: Independence, Iowa Employment Type: Full-Time | Non-Exempt This is not a role for someone who just wants to punch the clock. Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Strong work ethic and pride in craftsmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen
Nice To Haves
- Ford or ASE certifications (training available if needed)
- Previous automotive service experience
Responsibilities
- Performing work listed on repair orders accurately and efficiently
- Diagnosing and repairing engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, suspension, A/C, and electrical systems
- Test-driving vehicles and verifying repairs using diagnostic equipment
- Completing warranty repairs to Ford standards
- Communicating clearly with Service Advisors regarding repair needs and timelines
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and professional work area
