In this position... The Ford Pro Protect Area Sales Manager is responsible for driving the penetration and sales of Ford Pro Protect products across key channels including Pro Retail, Fleet, and Government. This role involves direct engagement with Ford Pro customers and dealers, managing a team of account managers, leveraging data for strategic opportunities, and collaborating extensively with various internal Ford Pro teams to integrate Ford Pro Protect into comprehensive solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree
  • 5 + years’ experience in Field Sales/Service with Knowledge of Account Management/Dealership Sales/Fixed Operations/Financing
  • Willing to travel up to 4 nights per week to Ford Pro customers and/or CVC Dealers in the Market Area

  • Ford Customer Service Division and Ford Pro experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Drive Ford Pro Protect penetration in 3 Key Channels (Pro Retail, Fleet, and Government) through direct interactions with our Ford Pro customer and our Ford Pro Dealers
  • Manages the weekly activities of Market Source Ford Pro Protect Account Managers (~ 3 Market Source Pro Account Managers per Market Area) that work directly with Ford Protect Profit Builder (Loyal Ford Protect Dealers) and Non-Profit Builder Dealers (Not Ford Protect Loyal)
  • Utilizes Ford Pro Protect Dashboard across Ford Pro Dealers and Customers to identify specific Ford Pro Protect channel opportunities for contracts attached to new vehicle purchases and also for Units in Operation
  • Works directly with Ford Pro National Account Managers (NAMs), Select Account Managers (SAMs), and Commercial Business Managers (CBMs) to include Ford Pro Protect into Ford Pro Large/XL Customer Competitive Price Allowances (CPAs)
  • Work with Ford Pro Service Elite Business Managers (SEBMs) on newly open or soon to be open Ford Pro Service Elite Centers to drive Ford Pro VIN share via Ford Pro Protect penetration with new/planned Ford Pro Elite Service Centers
  • Works directly with Ford Pro Commercial Vehicle Center Dealers and Ford Pro Commercial Business Managers to train CVC Dealers on Ford Pro Protect opportunities and presenting Ford Pro Protect in the Pro Retail, Fleet, and Government Channels
  • Work with Ford Pro Fleet Service Zone Managers to develop leads for large fleet and large municipalities to generate custom quotes for Ford Pro Protect plans (facilitated through a Ford Dealer) on current Fleet Units in Operation
  • Work with Ford Pro Fleet Government Sales Managers and Top 25 Government Sales Dealers to include Ford Pro Protect Maintenance and Mechanical plan options included in government bid opportunities
  • Marketing—develop and gain feedback on specific Ford Pro Protect Marketing Assets, Hero Cards, etc.
  • Present at various Ford Pro Dealer and Customer events
