About The Position
The Ford Dealer Technical Training Instructor will be responsible for delivering technical training to OEM Dealer technicians. This position will provide coaching, technical expertise and encouragement while allowing technicians or students structured opportunities to improve their own proficiency. They will utilize state of the art audiovisual equipment and work shop exercises to enhance the technician's automotive knowledge. One should enjoy making connections and building rapport with others in a fast-paced, collaborative, hands-on environment. Lab and classroom instruction may be delivered at customer or non-UTI facility. Effective presentation skills are vital in this role, as well as the ability to ensure standards and goals are met in a given timeframe, this may include independent decision-making. Therefore, planning and problem-solving skills are both essential for success in this position.
