Requirements

• 2+ years of Service Technician experience required
• Ford Certifications required
• Experience with various transmission types
• Basic computer skills
• Able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
• Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent required
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Responsibilities

• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Disassemble, inspect, and reassemble transmission units.
• Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
• Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
• Execute repairs under warranty to Ford's precise factory specifications.
• Inform Service Advisors of needed repairs, time estimates, and warranty status.
