About The Position

Ford of Arlington seeks a certified, experienced, and innovative Service Technician for complex diagnostics and maintenance on all vehicle areas, including specialized Ford systems, to join their team. The ideal candidate will perform advanced repairs, demonstrate leadership potential, and provide high-quality service to ensure customer satisfaction

Requirements

• Technician knowledge/experience is REQUIRED.
• Pay is based on experience.
• Certifications, Licenses, and local registrations required for the position.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating, maintenance, and procedure manuals.
• Flexible schedule
• Wear approved safety gear when in designated work area.
• Keep work area clean and tidy, in adherence to company standards.
• Applicants must be 18 years or older and be authorized to work in the United States.
• Applicants must have a valid driver's license and must complete the pre-employment screening.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and Collaborate
• Inspect malfunctioning equipment and accurately diagnose mechanical issues.
• Devise a repair plan, secure the necessary components with the Parts Department, and team up with management and other technicians to confirm efficient and effective service.
• Install, Repair, and Maintenance
• Install new equipment or systems and perform routine maintenance to guarantee optimal performance of the customer's vehicles.
• Customer Interaction and Problem Solving:
• Assist customers to understand their needs, explain diagnoses, and provide solutions to ensure service satisfaction.
• Trouble shoot and resolve issues effectively.
• Document and Report
• Document the repair and maintenance work performed.
• Note concerns encountered and create a detailed service report.
