About The Position

The Football Video Coordinator position has solid-line reporting responsibilities to the Assistant Athletic Director for Football and dotted-line reporting responsibilities to the Director of Video Services (Director of Bulldog Vision). The incumbent will oversee day to day video operations for the assigned Fresno State sports program. The incumbent will facilitate the distribution of game/practice film to coaches and players via ThunderCloud and ensure all opponent trade film is done in a timely manner along with Mountain West conference video requests.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year institution. Equivalent experience can be substituted on a year-to-year basis.
  • Minimum of two years of collegiate experience in Video Services.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee day-to-day operations of video services for the assigned sports program.
  • Work with Director of Video Services to include formulation and advance to maintenance and equipment budget.
  • Management and supervision of Filmers (6-10) for assigned sports' practice and games including organizing and controlling the area, establishing budget plans, forecasting staffing requirements and formulating policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for determining personnel actions, including hiring qualified staff to work practices and games.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable University, conference, and NCAA rules and regulations.
  • In consultation with the Assistant Athletic Director for Football establish and implement short-term and long-term goals and objectives for designated areas; evaluates program effectiveness, and effects changes required for improvement.
  • Authorize expenditures and ensure budgetary compliance of the assigned sport through economical and efficient management.
  • Submits annual budget requests for designated areas to the Director of Video Services (Director of Bulldog Vision).
  • Provide budget development, and tracking and monitoring of budget.
