The Football Education Interns will be responsible for assisting the Executive Director of Football Education and the Detroit Lions Football Education Team in regard to all Detroit Lions Football Education Programs such as Summer Camps, Half-time/Post-Game Youth Football Games, Specialty Clinics/Mini-Clinics and Girls High School Flag Football. This role is ideal for candidates with an interest or prior experience in social media coordination and/or event operations, as interns may support program promotion, on-site event execution, and overall participant engagement. The interns will be expected to exercise initiative and good judgment in regard to working with children and in all Football Education programs and football outreach initiatives. The hours for this position are 9:00AM - 5:00PM for the first 4 weeks and the last week and approximately 6:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. during the 9-week camp season. The interns will work an average of 8-9 hours per day. This internship is seasonal and would begin on Monday, May 11, 2026 and end on Friday, August 14, 2026 (14 weeks). This is a paid position. During football camps, interns will be required to work outdoors.
