About The Position
The Football Education Interns will be responsible for assisting the Executive Director of Football Education and the Detroit Lions Football Education Team regarding all Detroit Lions Football Education Programs such as Summer Camps, Half-time/Post-Game Youth Football Games, Specialty Clinics, and Mini-Clinics. The intern will be expected to exercise initiative and good judgment regarding working with children and in all Football Education programs and football outreach initiatives. The hours for this position are 9:00AM - 5:00PM for the first 4 weeks and the last week and approximately 6:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. during the 9-week camp season. The interns will work an average of 8-9 hours per day. This internship is seasonal and would begin on Monday, May 12, 2025 and end on Friday, August 15, 2025 (14 weeks). This is a paid position. During football camps, interns will be required to work outdoors.
