About The Position

Sentara Healthcare, an award winning, nationally recognized, nonprofit, integrated healthcare system is recruiting a top Foot and Ankle Surgeon for their team. Sentara Foot and Ankle Specialists are recruiting a 9th Foot and Ankle Surgeon for their well-established team covering multiple locations across Hampton Roads including Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Chesapeake, Suffolk and Hampton. We are currently looking to expand our practice to Sentara CarePlex Hospital, a well-equipped 224-bed community hospital. The new physician will share responsibilities with two experienced podiatrists covering 2 hospitals and an ambulatory surgery center.

Requirements

  • Board Certified or Eligible DPM
  • Completion of a 3-year residency
  • Experience with All Aspects of Foot and Ankle Surgery

Responsibilities

  • Practice the full scope of Podiatry
  • Perform All Aspects of Foot and Ankle Surgery
  • Conduct Foot, Hindfoot, Total Ankle Replacement procedures
  • Manage Diabetic Foot Limb Salvage cases
  • Engage in Hospital Management
  • Develop Strong Professional Relationships with Referral Physicians
  • Collaborate with Vascular, Orthopedic and Infectious Disease specialists
  • Achieve High Quality Outcomes and Strong Patient Satisfaction
