About The Position

Dartmouth Health’s Department of Orthopaedics at the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH is seeking to hire a Board Eligible/Certified Foot and Ankle Orthopaedic Surgeon to join a collaborative and multidisciplinary academic practice. This position offers the opportunity to practice in a high-acuity, high-volume environment while contributing to the institution’s missions of clinical excellence, education, and scholarly activity. The successful candidate will join an established division and provide comprehensive foot and ankle care within an integrated healthcare system. The role will be based out of Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, with additional clinical responsibilities at affiliate hospitals, all located within the Upper Valley, offering a short and convenient commute between sites. The position includes participation in a team-based academic practice, as well as shared Level I trauma call consistent with departmental needs. Academic responsibilities may include teaching and mentoring medical students and residents in both clinical and educational settings. It is expected that your clinical practice would have a focus on clinical research aimed at advancing the clinical mission of the department and Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth. With this, you will also hold a faculty appointment at the Geisel School of Medicine and will fully participate in the research, education, and clinical programs of the Foot and Ankle Division and the Department. Requirements

  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
  • Completion of accredited Orthopaedic residency.
  • Fellowship training in Foot and Ankle required.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopaedics.
  • Eligible for NH medical licensure.
