About The Position

We are looking for customer oriented individuals to work as a substitute foodservice worker. Hours are per diem and schedule varies depending on work availability. Reliable transportation is a must as work locations in the Erie's Public Schools varies on a day to day basis. Salary is $14.00 per hour. Requirements

• Experience desired but open to train candidates with a passion for food.
• Ability to apply elementary mathematical statistics that would apply to inventory and portioning.
• Willingness to roll up sleeves and contribute where needed.
• Hospitality-driven attitude.
• Ability to work and thrive in a team environment.
• Strong work ethic and a smile.

Nice To Haves

• Hospitality experience is desired.
• Experience as a cook or culinary schooling would be ideal.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties to include plating, set up and tear down of café, restaurant, retail areas.
• Assist in kitchen to include prep, dish room, dry stock and perishable food inventories and sanitation.
• Prepare and present meals following Executive Chef Menus.
• Assist with meal selection, tray set up, delivery and removal of food trays.
