The Food Unit Lead coordinates activities of other food-service employees and creates an enjoyable dining experience for customers, staff, and visitors. This role involves providing quality customer service, overseeing and participating in food and beverage preparation and service, planning menus, ensuring efficient meal service, responding to customer complaints, training employees, managing work schedules, handling reports, cash, and ordering supplies. The lead is also responsible for maintaining sanitation and safety standards and assisting with employee selection and orientation.
