About The Position

This role serves as the Chef/Manager for the Minnesota Vikings Table Food Truck, a Vikings Foundation initiative where food meets purpose. You will oversee food truck operations while helping generate proceeds that directly fund free, dignified meals for youth and families facing food insecurity.  This is a great opportunity to join a growing company where creativity, operational excellence, and community engagement matter. Requirements

  • Food truck experience required, including fast paced service and mobile kitchen operations
  • Minimum of three years of culinary management experience in contract foodservice, fine dining, restaurant, or food truck environments
  • Working knowledge of HACCP and food safety best practices
  • Strong understanding of inventory management, purchasing, and cost controls
  • Experience with P&L accountability and contract managed service environments preferred
  • Extensive knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, sanitation, and presentation
  • Experience with exposition cooking and guest facing service
  • ServSafe certification is a plus
  • Passion for sustainability and local sourcing
  • A positive attitude and enthusiasm for being part of a team oriented culture (Minnesota Vikings fandom is a fun bonus!)

Responsibilities

  • Provide full culinary management of the food service and food truck operations, including inventory control, ordering, and receiving
  • Lead menu development with a focus on creativity, cost control, and seasonal offerings
  • Manage purchasing and inventory while sourcing and utilizing local food products whenever possible
  • Oversee food quality, presentation, sanitation, and production standards
  • Maintain accountability for food cost controls and support P&L objectives
  • Ensure compliance with HACCP, food safety, and sanitation standards
  • Execute and oversee exposition cooking and live service environments
  • Foster a culture of sustainability, teamwork, and continuous improvement
