About The Position

Barrio, is currently hiring for the position of a part-time Food Truck Captain. We are seeking a reliable and experienced candidate who can take the lead on food truck events. The role requires the candidate to drive and maintain the food truck, serve food to customers throughout the event, and professionally represent the Barrio brand. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the food truck is clean, well-stocked, and ready to go before each event. They will be required to handle cash and card payments, take orders, and serve food to customers. In addition, the candidate should be able to provide excellent customer service, and handle any complaints or issues that arise. The food truck events can be weddings, graduation parties, corporate outings, or birthdays. Therefore, the candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, have excellent communication and organizational skills, and be able to work well under pressure.

Requirements

• A valid driver's license
• Availability on weekends
• Flexibility to be on-call for last-minute bookings
• Experience as a food truck or back-of-house shift lead
