About The Position
The Food Systems Policy Manager will spearhead the policy advocacy efforts of the Chicago Food Policy Action Council (CFPAC) to promote food justice and sovereignty in Chicago and its surrounding areas. This role involves collaboration with various stakeholders, including community organizations, food justice advocates, and government officials, to advance legislative priorities and strengthen community leadership within the food justice ecosystem.
