About The Position

The Grill Supervisor will monitor the restaurant, ensuring swift, positive and friendly guest service is provided.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Minimum of four years’ supervisory experience.
  • Must be 21 years of age.
  • Strong leadership, communication and supervisory skills.
  • Basic knowledge of all phases of restaurant management.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, with variable overtime.
  • Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondary smoke, high noise levels, bright lights and dust.
  • Food Handler Certification
  • Alcohol Certification
  • Info Genesis POS system or similar
  • Microsoft Office Programs
  • Great Plains accounting and payroll systems or similar programs

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and supervise the food & beverage staff and the operation of food venues.
  • Consistently demonstrate superior customer service skills and acts as a positive role model for all team members.
  • Convey positive energy and enthusiasm focusing on the guest interaction.
  • Immediately address service issues and follow up to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Direct the daily work activities of assigned personnel within the restaurant.
  • Properly schedule and assign stations within the restaurant minding opportunities to proactively manage labor costs.
  • Maintain restaurant cleanliness.
  • Coach, counsel, discipline and train the team members in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Assist with special and routine projects as necessary.
  • Advise customers on selection of food and beverage items.
  • Ensure that food is prepared and served according to the desired portions and quality specifications.
  • Ensure adherence to Board of Health standards.
  • Other duties as assigned.
