As a theme park built around a working movie studio, we are all about lights, camera, and action! Being part of our team means having fun at work, creating memorable moments for guests, and bringing the magic of Hollywood to life. Our Universal Studios Hollywood (USH) Internship Program gives you more than a glimpse behind-the-scenes of a working theme park – here you can get the chance to make a real impact on our business. As a USH intern, you will have the opportunity to build meaningful connections with leaders, attend professional development workshops, and learn from industry experts – all while gaining real-world experience. Your internship begins with your key project assignment and concludes with a final presentation of your results to members of Senior Leadership. We love those who are curious, driven, and passionate about the future of the themed entertainment industry. As a Food Shared Services Intern, you’ll dive into the world of beverage program management. You’ll play a key role in shaping how guests experience drinks by combining your analytical mindset, curiosity, and passion for flavor innovation. In this role, you’ll analyze performance data to uncover insights that guide beverage decisions, helping the team understand what’s working and where new opportunities lie. You’ll stay ahead of market trends, research emerging products, and make informed recommendations that keep the beverage lineup fresh, exciting, and relevant. You’ll turn those insights into real recommendations, influencing how new beverages are developed and introduced. You’ll also help maintain inventory tracking and SKU alignment, ensuring the product assortment is where it needs to be and that they support consistency and cost efficiency. Your contributions to research and development will give you hands-on experience alongside the Shared Services Senior Manager with recipe creation, product tastings, and creative presentation – helping to bring new beverage ideas to life from concept to launch. Beyond development, you’ll also support the team in administering venue level training, empowering the Food Operations team with the knowledge they need to deliver new and exciting programming in the park. By the end of your internship, you’ll understand how creative strategy, operational excellence, and guest experience intertwine to build a beverage program that is as inspiring as it is efficient. You’ll leave with hands-on experience in analytics, innovation, and storytelling.
