About The Position
Summary Job Description: PRN Requirements: Required to work a minimum of one 12-hour shift per week (6:15a-6:45p) Required to work 3 Holidays a year Required to work a minimum of 1 weekend a month Must be able to commit to two consecutive weeks of training (3 full shifts per week = 6 shifts total ) Food and Nutrition Services Food & Nutrition Services offers nourishing meals to patients, visitors, and Baptist Health Louisville employees. The department has about 120 employees and operates 24-hours a day/seven days a week. It provides great employment opportunities for growth and development within the department and hospital. Food & Nutrition Services can be a stepping stone to careers in healthcare. Employees may take advantage of tuition reimbursement opportunities and become medical professionals. Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
- Must be able to read and write.
- Must have ability to follow written and oral instructions.
- Neat appearance / excellent hygiene.
- Excellent customer relation skills.
- Excellent communication skills required.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for patient food service on assigned units, e.g., menu selections, tray assembly, tray delivery and pick up, special requests and needs, in-between meal food delivery.
