The Food Services Representative will provide food service to patients, guests or customers, maintain a clean, sanitary and safe food production environment, prepare food or drink items, assemble and deliver patient trays or catering events, and perform daily cleaning of dishes and work areas. This role also involves receiving and storing food and supply deliveries using FIFO principles and acting as a liaison between patients, guests, physicians, other hospital personnel and Food and Nutrition Services.

Requirements

• High School Graduate or Equivalent GED (preferred)
• Food Handler certification (preferred)
• Forklift certification (preferred)
• Experience in Food Services (nonessential)

Responsibilities

• Provide food service to patients, guests or customers.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary and safe food production environment.
• Prepare food or drink items.
• Assemble and deliver patient trays or catering events.
• Perform daily cleaning of dishes and work areas.
• Receive and store food and supply deliveries using FIFO principles.
• Act as a liaison between patients, guests, physicians, other hospital personnel and Food and Nutrition Services.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
