About The Position

The Food Services Rep II at BayCare Health System is responsible for providing food service to patients, guests, and customers while maintaining a clean and safe food production environment. This role includes preparing food and drink items, assembling and delivering patient trays, and performing daily cleaning tasks. The representative acts as a liaison between patients, guests, physicians, and other hospital personnel, ensuring quality service in the Food and Nutrition Services department.

Requirements

• High School Graduate or Equivalent GED preferred.
• Food Handler certification preferred.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Experience in food services is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide food service to patients, guests, or customers.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe food production environment.
• Prepare food or drink items as needed.
• Assemble and deliver patient trays or catering events.
• Perform daily cleaning of dishes and work areas.
• Receive and store food and supply deliveries using FIFO principles.
• Act as a liaison between patients, guests, physicians, and other hospital personnel.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
