About The Position

Performs a variety of food service duties for patient care. Assembles patient trays using standardized processes, following all guidelines for modified diets, stocks galleys as required. Follow all standards in preparing food for modified diets as prescribed by physicians. Follows correct portioning of food for adherence to modified diets. Stocks food items on the patient assembly line. Cleaning duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent of work related experience
• Strong communication skills
• Able to stand and walk for extensive periods of time
• Some lifting and pushing is required
• Must have capacity to learn diet modifications
• Good hand eye coordination

Nice To Haves

• Food handling experience preferred but not required
