About The Position

Under the direction of the Nothborough and Southborough Food Services Manager, the job of Food Services Manager assumes responsibility for food service operations as they may apply and/or are assigned to particular schools.

Requirements

Responsibilities

Assumes responsibility for food service operations as they may apply and/or are assigned to particular schools.
Serves food provided in an appealing manner.
Assures the cleaning of all serving areas and other paraphernalia related to the production, serving or storing of all foods used.
Participates in the assembly of foods, such as mixing salads, using a knife, assembling sandwiches and/or heating of precooked foods.
Performs cashiering or accounting of monies collected, bank deposits, participates in ordering food and menuing, and maintaining simple daily records.
Assists Cooks or Bakers in the preparation of foods.
Helps and assists other workers with joint tasks when other assigned tasks are completed.
Dresses appropriate to the tasks and the workplace and to essentially meet the standards of safety, health and cleanliness.
Performs such other tasks and assumes such other responsibilities as may be designated or assigned by the Northborough and Southborough Food Services Manager.
Maintains prompt and regular attendance.
Completes all other assignments as requested by the Superintendent of Schools or designee.
