About The Position

The Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment by washing dishes, utensils, and equipment. The dishwasher works closely with the kitchen staff to ensure that all kitchen operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Requirements

  • Possess an upbeat personality, a willingness to go the extra mile, and a strong work ethic
  • Maintain uniform standards when on job premises
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to verbally communicate in English
  • Ability to run and move quickly
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Be able to pass a criminal background check
  • Be organized and have excellent time-management skills

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the availability of clean dishes by washing dishes, pots, pans, and flatware
  • Clean machines and appliances used in the kitchen (coffee makers, pots and pans, mixers, etc.)
  • Unload and store deliveries
  • Sweeping and mopping floors, especially if items are broken or spilled
  • Taking out the trash and rinsing garbage cans
  • Follow proper sanitation procedures per local health department regulations
  • Report kitchen accidents or violations of food safety codes and procedures
  • Support other restaurant staff members by assisting with other tasks as needed
