Food Services Ambassador - Ball Memorial - Temporary
About The Position
ATTENTION STUDENTS!! Are you looking for employment that will work around your schedule? Then this might be the right fit for you! Work up to 9 months as a temp with the possibility of moving to a permanent PRN position after a successful 9 months. This is a PRN rotating hours position with flexibility as needed for your class schedules with an every other weekend commitment. This role checks trays for accuracy, serves, and transports food and supplies to provide a high level of happiness for a diverse customer base! You will have the opportunity to improve the lives and experiences of patients, family members, physicians, other employees and the public! The incumbent is responsible for quick, accurate, and courteous service, and resolution of customer concerns. Responsible for associated sanitation, cleaning, and infection control practices to ensure food safety. Operates a variety of food service equipment. Accountable for patient tray delivery time and recording of patient orders. We do have cross training opportunities. This position consists of standing, physical work, must work with patients, take food tray to ambassadors/patients, deliver food, clean, stock, work every other weekend and every other holiday. Requirements
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience preferred
- No experience required
- Requires ability to stand and/or walk for long periods of time
- Requires lifting, pushing, pulling, bending and kneeling
Nice To Haves
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of the CBORD system relative to job responsibilities preferred
