Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to work as a team player
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to multi-task
• Ability to stand/walk for up to 7.5 hours
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to perform routine repetitive duties
• Ability to read a menu and verbalize a patient's name
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain an even temperament in stressful situations

Responsibilities

• Cold food preparation
• Stocking and delivery of food items
• Assembling meals for patients and guests

• Punching in/out as required based on assigned work schedule
• Maintaining uniform standards including appropriate attire and visible identification badge
• Demonstrating understanding of responsibilities of assigned positions
• Verbalizing and applying knowledge of current department policies and procedures
• Attending staff meetings and in-service training as required
• Completing annual department/hospital competency requirements
