Food Service Worker Part Time Days
About The Position
Food Service Workers perform a variety of kitchen and related food service tasks such as cleaning, serving in retail and patient areas, food preparation, assembling trays, transporting food and supplies, and dishware washing. They are responsible for maintaining proper food handling, safety, and sanitation according to federal and state guidelines. The role adheres to hospital policies for information management, insuring confidentiality, security, and integrity of data, and ensures compliance with all laws, regulations, and guidelines of federal and state regulatory agencies.
Requirements
- Must obtain the ServeSafe Food Handlers or local Health Department certificate within 6 months of hire
Nice To Haves
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience preferred
