About The Position
Adelphoi is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Food Service Worker to join our team at the Robert Ketterer Charter School. This full-time role plays a vital part in ensuring nutritious meals are prepared, served, and documented in accordance with state and federal guidelines.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to follow detailed procedures and maintain compliance with regulatory standards.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- Additional training in food service is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Serve meals and manage post-meal cleanup.
- Coordinate meal transportation with the Transportation Coordinator.
- Organize and prepare weekend meals for group homes.
- Maintain accurate records for Department of Education meal reimbursement.
- Follow sanitation and serving guidelines set by the Department of Education, Agriculture, Welfare, and JCAHO.
- Implement wellness policy practices and HACCP principles.
- Manage inventory of milk and juice with the dairy provider.
- Prepare and serve food for special events.
- Assist with cooking and food preparation.
- Complete required documentation and reports in a timely manner.
